This year, as I watched my son step back into his circle of friends, it reminded me of the old saying:
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”
It’s true, but also incomplete. Because today, your “circle of 5” isn’t just about people. It’s about the five key fields that constantly shape your energy.
1. Family & Friends
We often assume these relationships are fixed, but we still have choices. We choose how much influence to allow, how porous our boundaries are, and how deeply we let others’ moods or stories into our field.
For me, this has meant learning to love family dearly, while staying centered in my own truth. Support and connection don’t have to mean letting every vibration seep into your space.
2. Communities
From parents at the school gates, to sports and hobby groups, to professional circles — these are the “second layer” of our field. They may not be daily intimates, but they carry influence.
This year I’ve been nourished by the spiritual business coaching group I’m part of — with bi-weekly sessions and WhatsApp chats where I can share wins unapologetically and grow alongside other spiritual entrepreneurs. I’ve also been deeply moved by our Soul Voyager Circle, where I get to witness tremendous growth and transformation in real time.
And of course, Rising Venus was born for exactly this reason: to be a high-vibrational circle for women who want to reflect, expand, and remember together — a free community , outside of the immersive Soul Voyager program.
3. Personal Growth & Practices
Beyond communities, there are the mentors, teachers, and practices that shape our days.
Mentors like Vishen, Regan, or Paul McKenna have been important inspirations for me — but equally powerful are the rituals I return to daily: yoga, meditation, visualization, journaling, and more recently, breathwork.
After the London retreat, so many of you shared how impactful breathwork felt. I’m now exploring ways to bring it more regularly into our shared field — perhaps a 7–8 week series, or even a 13-week seasonal journey of short, powerful sessions.
These practices are what keep my vibration clear and my becoming anchored.
4. Media & Content
This may be the most overlooked “circle” of all. We think it’s just entertainment, but it’s not. Media is energy.
Scroll through your phone’s screen time — how many hours a day are you plugged into social media, Netflix, or news? Chances are, you spend more daily time with media than with your closest friends.
This summer I cleaned up my feeds and became intentional about what I consume — choosing inspiration over doomscrolling. It has completely shifted the clarity and cleanness of my field.
5. Career & Work
Work is where many of us feel trapped — surrounded by colleagues or cultures that don’t align. But here, too, you have choices.
Boundaries matter. If the environment is toxic or misaligned, the cost is greater than salary. For me, as an independent entrepreneur, this also includes the brands and companies I collaborate with. I won’t sacrifice vibrational alignment for a partnership that doesn’t resonate with my values.
A New Kind of Circle of 5
When you look at these five areas — family/friends, communities, practices/mentors, media, and work — you see the true shape of your vibrational circles.
This summer, I made it a non-negotiable to curate these fields more consciously. The result? A cleanness and high vibration I can feel in every part of my being. And this isn’t just “holiday energy” — it’s one of the 5 non-negotiables I practice to support my new becoming.
Curating my circles is one slice of what I call Identity Alchemy — and it’s what I’ll be sharing more of in the 3-Day Challenge at the end of September.
Because transformation isn’t about forcing results. It’s about choosing the circles, communities, and practices that hold you in the frequency of who you are becoming.
