RECOGNITION
A short reflection
You don’t need fixing.
You don’t need another method.
But something in you knows this isn’t quite home.
This short reflection is for those who have done the work —
the yoga, the therapy, the healing, the growth —
and yet feel a quiet sense of depletion, restlessness, or distance from themselves.
Not broken.
Just not fully here.
If something in you softened while watching this,
if you felt relief rather than urgency,
if you thought “this names something I’ve never quite put into words” —
nothing needs to happen next.
This is not a call to act.
It’s a moment of recognition.
Often, that alone changes how we relate to ourselves.
Many people who arrive here share a similar pattern:
• A life that works on the outside
• A strong sense of responsibility, competence, or resilience
• Years of learning, healing, improving
And yet…
• A quiet tiredness that rest doesn’t quite touch
• A feeling of always being “on”
• A sense of having to manage oneself, rather than inhabit oneself
This isn’t failure.
And it isn’t a lack of gratitude.
It’s often a sign that an old way of holding life has run its course.
There is nothing you need to understand, analyse, or resolve here.
Recognition is not about insight.
It’s about allowing yourself to be seen — by yourself — without self-correction.
You don’t become whole when nothing gets triggered.
You stop abandoning yourself when you notice what’s alive and stay.
If this reflection resonates, you may find yourself drawn to slower, shared conversations — spaces where nothing is pushed, and depth unfolds through presence rather than performance.
At certain moments, I host live workshop conversations that explore themes like:
• living in truth without force
• safety beyond survival
• identity, armour, and choice
They are not programmes or self-improvement paths —
just places to sit together and inquire.
You’re welcome to explore those if and when it feels right.
If you leave this page with nothing more than a little more kindness toward yourself, this has already done its work. You’re not behind. You’re not late. And you’re not alone in this quiet recognition.
